    Thanks everybody, I agree the case is pricey but I kinda have my heart set on it lol! Can somebody link me to the Blue version of the HDD posted above? I really don't want to buy an SSD just yet is it really necessary alongside a HDD?

    It would be easiest to buy it now so you can run OS on it instead of having to re-install OS when you decide to buy it

    I actually don't think it's a good time to get an SSD, they've not increased in R/W speeds for some time, it's almost inevitable that they'll suddenly jump in speeds sometime next year.

    you're just being greedy if 500 mb/sec isn't fast enough for you

    Innit, I was going to go for a 350MB/s because I really don't care that much! End of the day, I'm not moving a ton of files across hard drives, I'm just using it to run an OS. The speed I'd get with a 500MB/s isn't really noticeable on boot (or so I imagine).
