then you don't need to turn habbox into a hub you stick a tele in the help desk... but all thats gonna happen is people still enter the room via the actual room and not the 'hub' lol

It was an additional idea on top of Hub. And, not trying to sound rude, but the idea wasn't meant to benefit you, it was meant to get people into HxHD. Random event goers who just want to play the game will wonder in and find the help desk. This does seem to work before you say "why would they do that". In the past when we've linked the rooms everyone seems to explore and the room tends to stay busy for a long period of time.

That is the general intention.

Previous times it was done (such as chawk/nadia/kirstea/freds game) the main room was locked (main room being event room) for the majority of the event from what i remember.

Its been tryed and asked for many a times in the last 5/6 years and it just doesnt work. And this is coming from someone who used to always campaign for it to be a lounge and not a help desk. HxHD is that old now that it would be a crime to get rid of it, it would be like taking the soul of habbox from habbo.

I sorta agree we need to make hxhd more appealing to get people in and jan the newbies are the people we need to join Habbox and get them interested in a fan site why wouldn't we want them??? They are a fan sites main target audience to get new people in and join ye community, I also agree with having like a hub idea with doors taking you to different game rooms like a maze

I think the least that could happen from this thread would be to centralise all the Habbox rooms in HxHD. So having teleports to the likes of Zak's maze and the trade city.

So people would prefer noobs not to go in the Help Desk yet that's its intention as it usually helps new people. I think people need to remember we were all noobs once. Trial something out, if it doesn't work at least we can say we attempted to make it fresher and more modern.
