I don't think small stats such as "the person who first reached God status" or "the longest running normal management member (excluding (A)GMs)" could be that much of an ego boost or a problem because they're clear cut fact, but I didn't realise that this many people were so against this kind of thing haha.

It looks like people will just bicker if it's introduced based on this thread so it's probably easier to not bother now I guess.

I agree with the ego-trip argument. Who would have the authority to decide what records are 'suitable'? It could be favouritism: if a select few people are deciding, they could either pick someone or deliberately not pick someone - even deciding which records are deemed suitable, which may be decided on who the 'applicants' are.

On the other hand if it's done by popularity vote or member vote you could end up with really mean ones, like 'biggest ****' or something. Which wouldn't be good. And more threads like that, I'm sure everyone here can think of a thousand mean 'titles' we could give.

If it's bare facts like 'first to reach god status', that's on people's wiki pages, as far as I know, and on the page for the specific thing (like Forum God) - if it's not, it should be - and although I agree a list of all records might be a good thing I'd argue only for the fact ones. Which might be hard to verify? I don't know.
