Can anyone find the really old catalogue that was used... Ah, I don't know the year. Maybe 2002? It looked so good.

The day I get to 200 in Ping Pong II is the day my life is complete.

Today's build (24/07/2013)
Adds the option for users/habbos to be able to use the new catalogue when they have the perk "EXPERIMENTAL_TOOLBAR"

The old catalogue looks aesthetically much better than the proposed one. It was straightforward and easy to navigate, with no gimmicky graphics. There's an interactive version of the old catalogue here:

I second that.
Exactly! I love the simplicity of it.
I doubt they would go back to it though. There's so many furni lines, you'd be scrolling through them for ages just to find what you wanted.
They could make main sections like the current ones with an arrow, then it opens sub ones. And it'd still look as good.

That's true. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that.
I do miss having furni icons on tabs though.

Someone should really send that to the staff who's currently designing everything. Didn't he make an account on this?

It's a bit too Windows 95-y for my taste, but I can definitely get where they're coming from; the staff is shooting for a more classical look, whereas my goal was always modernization. I can appreciate the strategy, even if I'm not a huge fan of their chosen treatment.
Would've been fun to see something completely different, like a drawer design.

I'll say this, though; it definitely looks like they're improving the usability of the catalogue, which should always be the primary goal anyway.
