yes, unfair bans and mutes are terrible.

but what can we do about it?

Before I go on, this is a completely void point. Someone dying from a shot wound is completely different to someone getting called names on an internet site. Thats like me saying I fought to get this pizza wrapper off, like the soldiers fight for us in Afghanistan. But yes, I do get your drift.

My points are simple in any of these threads:

    - We need English moderators
    - We need capable staff members and maybe a revamp on the guardian scheme

Overall though, I agree with @myles;. People just use anything anybody says these days and brands it under 'Bullying', Unlike real bullying you can turn them off/ignore/delete etc. People just have to take the bull by the horns and rise above it. If you react and start all the 'UR SO HORRIBLE IM GOING TO REPORT YOU, YOU IDIOT' lark then they will carry on.

Don't fully ignore them, just respond like you're agreeing with them (if you're the one in the firing line). When they don't get their kick from annoying people they move to someone else. Just don't react and throw your pixels out the pram.
Are you actually telling people to agree with the bullies just to avoid bullying? How is that going to help? Bullying is bullying and should be taken seriously especially on a website which is targeted for children
    anyway

Nice way to twist it straight out of meaning. If you say something like "Yeah, ok" then it sends a message that you won't play their sick games. Its a hell of a lot better than reacting to them and causing them to do it even more.

If you react to a bully = You get bullied more
If you ignore a bully = You get bullied till you react
If you report a bully = They get muted/banned go on another account and continue regardless
If you shoot words back at a bully = You're now a bully
You can't win anyway, I'd rather wuss out from a situation and not get upset in the future?
As much as Habbo is targeted at a teenage demographic people have to realise that sometimes you will get called names, there is no way to stop bullying. If someone gets banned, they go on another login and do it even more.

I'm talking about proper bullying, not trolls saying a couple of comments while you're in a game room. From experiences it worked for me..

It's Habbo though, I don't see why people care so much what others say. That being said, I'm detatched from all the different "Habbo communities" now compared to 14/15, where in certain situations stuff like that did bother me/get annoying.
