Nah they probably would pretend they liked the new feature not wanting to offend their beloved Apple or at least that's the feeling I get from talking to a lot of Apple fans.

Not from what I remember, but it doesn't mean it wasn't.

Honestly, I don't like the whole look of Windows 8. The Xbox 360 had the same look prior to the official release of Windows 8, and it was too condensed.

It's not in the latest update. It will most likely be in Windows 9.

I moved from Windows to Apple after 10+ years and still don't feel the need for a start menu, searching is so much easier then clicking through files, no matter what the OS is.

Remember people used to use it without the start menu before Windows 95 and then when 95 came out the Start menu was introduced, but I reacon people by then are dead now lol. I don't know why they randomly thought they'd remove it now. All to anything I'd say. Although it was and a GOOD feature and easy to get access to your recent and known programs/folders. So glad they're sticking to it and bringing it back

God this don't make sense! LOL screw you Micro$meg! LOL

I hate that I didn't get Windows 8 when it was like $30.

Yeah I got it cheap as I heard they planned to do a lot of smaller free and cheap updates. I wouldn't have upgraded at full price unless I had to
