156 also. Online tests (if not paid for) are basically 100% bogus. I paid a few quid to do one run by the High IQ Society (not sure if it was UK or International) and got 137, which at the time was just a tad too low for Mensa.
IQ tests were originally designed that the average was 100 exactly, but people have become more intelligent and in the developed world the average score has actually risen to something above 105.

I don't think at any age it's a waste; Mensa will not lie and say you're more intelligent (IQ-wise) than you are just because you're 15. Mensa willingly tests children from the ages of 5+ I think, so they're definitely worth it if you have £25 to spare and live near one of the testing centres
