    I never purposly ignored this requested. There was many other text bubble going on in the room at the time Samanfa was trying to speak to me. Would of been helpful if there was a whisper or a Skype message to help alert me directly, whilst trying to control the event and make sure things were going how they should.

    I'm happy that management are hardballing this, it sucks for the people who lose out on the points but we don't want organisers to get sloppy on bookings and it's only the first day.

    As long as it's posted in the booking thread it can then straight away be put in the CNB and started, you don't have to wait necessarily for someone to add it to the panel! But there are reasons we need it posted - so we can check the event is OK, we can keep an eye on it, make sure it doesn't clash, etc etc. Just need it posted in there first, only takes around 20 seconds!

    Don't worry, I understand both sides of the argument. You think staff would be able to read basic instructions, but at the same time I can see why participants would be annoyed when from their point of view, everything is seemingly fine with it being posted on the CNB etc.

    So have my points that I stayed up late promoting Habbox to win not been counted? That's fun, can always rely on Habbox to slacken all rules at times when we actually need them for events to function and then tighten up at times when it's as active as we could hope for. Top management always knowing the best ways to send us down the drain

    @JamesSparky; I would have allowed it to be booked at the end, but you didn't even ask that - when I said you would need to book it or face the points not counting you said "I don't care." so with that attitude, I'm sorry it doesn't wash. You could have got someone to post for you if you were too busy too, but at the end of the day it's been sorted now and it only takes a minute to book which could have been done between rounds. At least all staff members know now for future reference, I'm just glad it happened on day one as people might just have needed reinforcing on the rules.

    I began adding all the points earlier, and I added near enough all the on air competitions then realised that they weren't booked. I double checked with Chris on whether they needed to be booked or not and got told yes, therefore I had to remove the points. If they were booked after the hour (before we found out) that'd have been fine, but unfortunately they weren't.

    @lesbon; I was looking down the list as I knew you had booked some, I'll have a look again if you'd like me to. I was under the impression that the competitions you hosted didn't match the hours you'd booked for, so it could just be a misunderstanding there!

    All staff members have now been PMed about it, and we shouldn't have problems like this for the rest of HxSS hopefully! It is a shame that people lost out on points because of it, but it's in the rules that you need to book. If anyone wans to contact one of us about it though we will look into it no problem. Also, we've included that instead of the 10 minutes after the events due to start you can book, for the duration of HxSS this has now changed to half hour as it can be difficult if you have a busy room!

    I believe all teams didn't gain points due to that, and there are now underhand tactics going on - just rules that shouldn't be broken.
