What a difficult life you live with internet, food, clothes, clean water.

... That's not even funny at best. That's a very unfair thing to say and I strongly dislike people who say 'omg you cant have a bad life because x has it worse' it is a ******* awful excuse to use. Did I even state why I consider my life to ''not be easy"? No I did not. Of course some people will have it worse off than you but it does not mean you have an easy life.

Would you not agree that you are better off with those things and your issue rather than not having those things and your issue?

For example, if I had a terminal illness and a year or so left to live, I imagine my life would be a lot easier with internet/food/clothes/water than without - I mean, it still doesn't solve your problem, and your life is still difficult, but surely it's a lot more difficult without those things.

My point really is, there's always someone worse off, no matter how "hard" we consider our lives to be.

The comment had an element of sarcasm to it, it wasn't meant to be taken literally. It's quite obvious that life isn't perfect with those 4 things, my point is that we should be grateful that are lives aren't worse - that doesn't mean we should feel okay where we are, just somewhat grateful that it's not as bad as it *could* be.

Example: I've only got 6 months to live. That absolutely sucks. But at least it's better than people that only have 2 weeks to live. It doesn't solve my problem, and it doesn't mean my life is 'good', but it's still a fact that I'm not in the worse situation I could possibly be in.

See my comment above. It was more of a 'difficulty is relative' sort of thing. It's very easy to just look from our own point of view sometimes.

I understand women can be prejudiced against men but in case u haven't noticed we've only recently started to be allowed the same rights as you.

I'm sorry but what do u mean by this? Can u suddenly not vote? Can u suddenly not own your own property? Or if you do own ur own property but then get married, ur wife gets it? Are u not getting paid as much as us for the same job? Are being shamed for having a job because u have children u should be looking after whilst u let ur wife go out to earn the money?

I know all of these things have been solved now but that's only happened in the last hundred years or so. And I know you were only referring to the present but u will almost definitely never have it worse than we have. We've been dealt the dud hand throughout history in terms of our rights.

Probably equally hard being both depending on how you look at it. And we're brought up to deal with it. Like I've spent my entire life practicing to be a girl (not literally studying for it but u know what I mean). So it sucks with the whole period, pregnancy, childbirth, old stereotypes about women, etc. but you've spent your whole life learning to live with it.

Why are you talking about the past when it's clearly on about now? I also think you fail to realise that not all men could vote in the past anyway, it was limited to the rich (land owners). In the past there's always been one group that's been tread on and if you want to completely go off topic from the premise of the original post and avoid all context then surely I could just say black men had it worse compared to white women in the past? Why not actually stick to the original topic which is about whether it's harder or not to be male or female today, talking about women not being able to vote in the past is completely irrelevant to this point and nothing you've said counters what @Lewis; wrote.

I think we both have it tough to some extent but I'd still say women have it harder!
