Personal opinion: Outrageously expensive, waste of money.

Nevertheless, enjoy the device - the camera is decent

You can bend any phone if you give it enough force.

I thought it was pretty cheap, I only had to pay the handset cost, £189, Mums paying the contract bill.

Got discount of the monthly cost anyway because I work for Dixons Carphone.

Should of been £53 a month, only costing £45 thats unlimited texts, calls ,20GB of 4g.

Difference here is that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are bending under normal conditions. However, it might just be hipster trousers.

I do wonder how many cases of these phones have actually been bent under normal conditions. According to Apple only 9 customers complained so far and that was on the 25th September.

And that number has been questioned. If you look at people on social media who have reported this issue, including reports to the media, this number is definitely false. It's not that difficult to tell the difference between people genuinely destroying their phones to those who have broken them due to poor build quality. Furthermore, the phones bend considerably easily compared to other phones in the same product area under the same conditions. Further again, no company will actually admit that a product they spent millions developing is faulty due to poor product testing so do you really expect Apple to actually admit to a fault?

I haven't gone looking and I'm not going to bother going looking. People will jump ship on this and bend the phones for the sake of it - Yes, people have been doing that even in the Apple shop to get "views" and "retweets".

No, I doubt they will admit it but if a problem gets bigger they will probably do something about it. Like they did when the whole big deal occurred with the so called "Antenna gate" and Apple offered free bumper cases to anyone who wanted one. Then they fixed that specific design flaw in future models.

All I'm saying is, this could be a massive deal over nothing if the reported numbers are actually smaller than you may think. But if you are right and saying it's happening to tons of people then I have no doubt in them looking into the problem and finding a solution.

Microsoft some what did admit there was problems with the very early models of the Xbox 360 with the red rings of death and came up with a plan to solve that. The customers will win in the long run if it's a much bigger problem that you say it is. Not Apple but you did say "no company"

Whether you are paying or not, that doesn't make it 'cheap'. Personally, I wouldn't let my parents spend that lol. £1270 for two years for one mobile phone is. not. cheap.
