I'd not even heard of Habbox until my friend told me about HabboxLive and I became obsessed with it in late 2010/early 2011. Then I heard about the forum and decided to sign up.
I was completely intimidated by everyone on here for all of 2011 though and didn't start posting properly until about mid 2012. Then I guess I stayed because it was preferable to real life at the time and now it's just habit. Probably not a helpful answer but it's true so yh.

The thing that got me to sign up in the first place was primarily the radio and the events. I was ONLY interested in on-client stuff in 2011ish.

1. Why did you join HabboxForum?

I won a Win a Room competition with DJs Robbie and Raaaave and they told me to sign up as they'd post a thread congratulating me!


2. Why did you stay?

I didn't, at first. I quite for almost a year before getting back into Habbo again and I came on Habbox because I think I saw someone mention it in a room and I tuned into the radio I think? I can't really remember tbh. I stayed because I became friends with a few people - Oli (Hecktix) and James @despect were asking after me when I acidentally got banned and it made me feel wanted! I then got a job and stayed because of those positions.

1. Why did you join HabboxForum?

My friends in real life at the time (when they played Habbo) enjoyed tuning into Habboxlive to win stuff. I guess I made it a habit of tuning in and got familiar with quite a few of the djs. I went into HxL party rooms and HxHD and people were always telling me to make an account so I did.

2. Why did you stay?

Initially I didn't. I think I signed up in 2010 but didn't actually start posting properly until late 2011. I didn't see the point of it and got really really confused as to the point of it and how to use it. I think after my break I came back and joined in again, deciding to sign up to Events. I stayed because of the Events and I actually really enjoyed hosting them and being a staff member. I stay now because it's become a bad habit lmao, also I've met so many people that I consider my friends.

I joined back in 2011 because of HxSS and HabboxLive was preeeeeeettty popular.

I can't say that I've stayed for a long while because I went to ThisHabbo for about 2 years (until very recently when I decided to leave because of studies and the people there... shudders) but overall the community here is really warm and close-knitted and you don't feel like an outsider on this forum. One thing I suggest that Habbox should probably focus on is radio because I honestly think that aside from the forum, its the only thing that can bring in newcomers. (But considering that I haven't logged onto Habbo for a year, I guess my opinion is invalid.)

I had registered on habbo like a year before then i decided to leave although i come back and my friend was a dj here so i joined

I stayed because i won the monthly graphics comp and got vip loll

I'm so glad you've improved in graphics since then.

1. My sister had told me about Habbox for Rare Values before, I then heard DJ Melissa doing a competition so I tried entering, but I got her Habbo name wrong. Then in Easter 2009 I started playing in the HxEE (only for a week) and came 2nd, but a part of the prize was VIP so I had to sign up.

2. I stayed as I had made some good friends here, and then it was for the jobs I've had - I had an inactive spat when Mr-Trainor had a fansite, but then that closed and I was removed from the DNHL and so I've been a volunteer on here ever since.

2. Why did you stay? Because I got accepted.

1. Why did you join HabboxForum? I joined during HxSS because I was around in some of the events and it looked fun and wanted to get involved. I'd also won a competition on the radio and wanted to become a DJ so I could take part in that way too.
2. Why did you stay? I like some of the events. I learned the navigate around the forum and made a few friends. I got the jobs that I wanted to and am now more than happy within both of them. It's the most decent fansite I've been to.

1. Why did you join HabboxForum? Because I met a friend who used to tune into hxl, I then got friendly with the DJs and started to love Habbox so I joined the forum.


2. Why did you stay? Because I met some really good friends that I'm still friends with today. I enjoy coming on and talking to them all, seeing how everyone is doing and what they're doing with their lives. I enjoyed a few of the roles at Habbox too although sometimes I did get bored but what kept me here was the people mainly. Still love most Habbox roles today.

1. Why did you join HabboxForum? it was during a huge event thing roxy did where it was a big room with teleports leading to events with a sticky note above each one with the time of event etc so i joined because they also had forum competitions on at the time
