Ouch I don't like Man City but comparing people to Liverpool is just uncalled for

That would explain it. I'm still anticipating a boom-bust cycle JPEG for Arsenal, a bit like the Liverpool one.
We can't be too far off it. The Tarquins and the media have been telling us for the last four - five seasons that it's their year.
That's an interesting thought. What makes you say this?
Is it the acquisition of one of England's finest young talents? Perhaps the strengthening of their midfield with an England international? Maybe it's the imminent signing of the Bundesliga player of the year?
It seems strange that we'rep so quick to discredit the only team not to finish outside of the top two positions over the last four seasons.
Great first day... would of thought United vs Spurs match would of had a few more goals, Darmian looked good.
I think it'll finish like
1st Chelsea
2st United
3rd City
4th Arsenal
5th Liverpool
6th Spurs

You holding a disliking for the club doesn't mean that the club is "crap".
I don't particularly like Suarez, it doesn't mean that he's not a world class forward.

@FlyingJesus, what was Ivanovic doing yesterday? He was so poor, has he had a poor pre-season as well? It's a game of ifs and buts, however if we win on Monday, Sterling will be relishing the chance to come up against Ivanovic if he's in the same form. A five point gap after two games would be a nightmare start for Chelsea.
whole new level of deluded
Ivan's become a bit of a liability at the back and does need to improve, but we're not really in the state to chop and change at the back at the moment either
Completely mental first day for a lot of teams, I can't see all of these performances continuing through the season so still difficult to judge a lot of what might happen. All the Arsenal fans on facebook giving up already lmao why is it always them who get so suicidal about it all
Don't think today went to plan for @IceNineKills. I'm reluctant to mock too much as we haven't played, although I do wonder if Arsenal fans will still be telling us that Cech is going to win them the league.Completely mental first day for a lot of teams, I can't see all of these performances continuing through the season so still difficult to judge a lot of what might happen. As for the 'mental' opening day, I think the gap between the top six and the rest of the league is shortening each season.
