Last Christmas I was in Asda doing some shopping and this woman I always say hello to when I'm in there was on the self checkouts and I was having a lot of trouble with this one machine. She came over and apparently it was my own bags that were causing the issue so she put 2 crates of fosters that I was buying on the bagging area and then put my bags on there and weighed the ''bags'' and approved it. As she walked away she said merry Christmas and winked at me. She gave me 2 free crates of fosters for Christmas just by weighing them as bags. I wonder if she has done that to many other people or if she ever got in trouble for it.

Made the mistake of using a match and more with the vouchers

And yeah, for a bit I was on those machines. Had them 6th October I was fired late November.
They were very good but very different
Customers preferred them but still called them shite

Oh actually now that you and the other person mentioned it, I have probably *technically* stolen stuff via that. Like unintentionally. When I scanned stuff through I'd be doing it so quick that if it didn't actually scan the person would already have it in their bag before I realised. It's just embarrassing to ask for it back lol so i ignored it !

Usually it was only cheap stuff like cheese but there was one time where it was a huge bottle of some sort of spirit and i was like oh why didnt it come up with the age verification screen? lol i didnt scan it did i rip -continues work anyway

Omg yess that's happened to me loads hahaha (is this a cucumber or courgette or aubergine..what even is an aubergine oh my god the stress)
or when you don't know the specific type of apple so you choose a random one.. I had a customer shout at me for that, I didn't know what type of apple she had so I asked her and she was like '-shrug the posh ones' so I was like lol k ill put it through as the cheapest and she kicked off saying it's not right cos it's not the right price blah blah even tho I saved her like 25p gosh I was like a SAINT.

If we ran a supermarket we'd get bankrupt so quick x x

lol me and my friends always hypothetically said that we wouldnt use our match & more card if we were using vouchers that werent our own. (when i took vouchers it was prior to the match & more card)

I've gave customers stuff for free. Customer wanted a slice of pizza and the rest of the pizza was going to be binned (due to shitty company policy) so gave her the rest of it and a customer didn't like how empty the cup was when the coffee machine poured it so I poured him another and gave him one for free.
