I think the key there is whether it's done well enough. I've done marketing for smaller businesses and been extremely successful, you just have to adapt your strategies.
I think people expect marketing to work overnight, every time. When in reality it's the complete opposite. 9/10 times you won't notice a a difference over a short period of time, neither will every single technique be successful. Probably the only exception is email/SMS marketing, but that's a whole different story.
I think a marketing manager position is well worth the shot. I don't understand why some would begrudge a role? If it could potentially somewhat revive Habbox - then go for it!
If it doesn't, at least it was tried.
I think it also comes down to it just being Ross, which is kinda acceptable because I hate him too.

I didn't know you working in marketing to be fair, or that you were the marketing manager. More power to Habbox if they give you the marketing manager role. I got the impression they had hired a 17 year old kid with no experience haha
