Paying for the school bus = Unfair?

I get on train at (A name of a town) the train makes three stops. The third stop is where my school is. Probably more then 3 miles rofl ;p About 8-9 I don't know ;o

Heh.. to get home, sometimes I use my mate's bus pass, he goes the same route as me. I only live a mile away from the school but it beats paying the £1-00 and walking home in the pouring rain.

That's because where we live, the states USUALLY only restrict people on the bus if they are breaking school rules because since some families can't afford for bus fair.

I know not everyone has to pay for the school bus, as they get a free bus pass, but if you do, dont you think it is unfair that you have to pay £1.50 each way, [Like I do] to go to somewhere you dont even want to go?

I do relise that the bus company need to make money, to make a living, but cant the school pay? we are paying to go to somewhere we dont want to go!

You're an idiot. Schools need money too. More then bus companys do. You're wasting gasoline by riding in the bus. Therefore you should pay.

That's a shame you have to pay.

In Australia, in the state I live in. There's a special train ticket and bus ticket at school which you can apply for and use it for the whole year, between certain times only. But you can only obtain one depending on how far you live from your school.

That should be introduced, for the benefit of students.
