Umm, The doctor advises checking 1-3 times a month, So he was doing the right thing? and i dont know too be honest, It might be a bit of a personal question, but are you sexually active? If so you could of caught somthing, I hope not, But it could happen, It happens easily, Uhrmm, If you are, i would sugest going too see your doctor or a teen *** clinic....
