People who say "only personality" lie. Sorry, but you wouldn't date an obese, ugly, ginger, spotty girl, even if she had the best personality in the world. Guys and girls say looks don't count just so they sound like a great person really, I don't think they honestly think it. It's a mix of both. The same goes if the girl was the best looking girl in the world, but she had no personality. Yeah she's hot, but you'd get bored pretty soon. I think when it comes down to it, personality matters more and becomes more important as you get older. It's the thing that's permanent, personality, whereas beauty soon dissapears.
(No offense was inteneded to obese, ginger, spotty or ugly teens out there btw.)

I think both are important, but personality over looks.

You are first attracted to someone due to their looks, and then you speak with them and find out about their personality. Therefore you can't say you would be first attracted to someone by their personality.
