~ I think we have seen the last of Ippo in anime. They could have made movie's, ova's another short series but nothing. not even a sniff of information so i think they are leaving Ippo for now. If the manga has an increase in popularity they might jump on the bandwagon and try release something.

~ They tell you its finished, secretly carry on and then announce it in a few years and market it as the last film etc and people will jump on the band wagon to go see it. making them lots of money. When ever someone dies and its there "last thing" theres money to be made.

To be fair it took 9 years for Season 2 to be made from Season 1. I think when chapter 1000 is released it would be a perfect time toannouncesomething. It's currently on chapter 920-30 right now so it's close. With Ippo being the 11th longest running manga I think it deserves another shot. The original season remains my favourite anime of all time. Albeit as for the new content, the director of it was mean't to be the guy who's directing Hunter X Hunter now so it may be a while. Still I live in hope.

Just been re-watching Death Note again and reading the Hajime No Ippo and Naruto manga. I started on HxH and got to Episode 3. Seems interesting albeit I'm streaming the episodes and it's hard to find good streams for it.

Today I began reading 'Onani Master Kurosawa'. A friend told me to read it, it is extremely funny, so I did. Imagine Death Note but with *******. It's actually extremely good and interesting. The plot twists are insane lol

Remake yeah. What's the difference between that and the original? Is it like FMA and Brotherhood?

i may go. Depends if my mate will go and if i can get time of work.

And no. 1st anime was made by Nippon Animation, Was good but apparently the music wasn't to great. And the 2nd Series or "Reboot" is made by Madhouse which just restarts the series again with a faster pace i believe.
