Updated 10/8/13: If you have previously created a character but see an empty character selection screen when entering GTA Online, please back out to GTAV Story Mode and try re-entering GTA Online through the pause menu (repeat or wait until Rockstar cloud servers are back up). Do not create a new character in the empty slot where your character should be.

According to the comment from Rockstar they are still investigating the cause of game progress loss, don't think this TU fixes that.

Finished the story last night but I missed one of the cutscenes so idk what was really going on, bloody dog leant on the controller. Time to start over and play strategically this time so I might have enough to buy the golf club

To those interested there is a nice way to earn $9000 every 5 - 10 minutes online. All you need is Rank 22+ and have Martin Madrazo on your phone. Simply call him up, request a Job and accept it which will be to kill a lawyer, take the evidence, avoid the cops (You can call lester to remove them) and then take the evidence back to his house. No more than a 5 minute drive each time. Though I should point out that since an update you cannot repeat the mission through the Replay button, a simple solution to that is to exit to freeroam after finishing and calling Martin again and repeating.

Gerald has a mission like this (violent duct) where you get 9k every time and it took like 2mins to complete the misson but they have reduced it to 3K now. I use to do it over and over again with my buds and we bought the $205,000 apartment. I bought some points so I could get 200k via shark card just waiting for them to take the cards off maintenance then I can get the 400k house!

I missed one of the cutscenes accidentally and so I replayed the whole mission straight after to make sure I didn't miss it haha
