Just wrote the first episode. You're all in for some shocks.

There will, hopefully, be 21 episodes this series.

There will be one main storyline which will appear in Episode 5/6. The first few episodes are a meet the new characters, what Danny's been up to and getting a bit of back story.

I can reveal the names of the new main Characters are:
- Danny [You know that]
- Ed
- Serena
- Sarah

Then, there will be episode "arcs" which are basically events/storylines that happen over 4 or more episodes to add a twist in the tail of the overall piece. It's very Americanised and it is more a season than a series. I want to write Half of it before I release it

I can also reveal that a part of Danny's past will play a MAJOR part in this new series.

You have a mac?! I just felt a imbalance in the force. Definetly cross out Terrorist Attack, even though it is America. I think that'd be good for a second series but for now lets get to know the characters before you kill them off? An affair seems a bit inappropriate, a shock from the past has happened before so introducing that now would be silly but a secret child? That was only tapped upon in the first series (I think? Coulda been 2nd) so that's something to explore in. Dont rush into thooough!

I love this soooo much. I'm trying to think of something which could be in Danny's past, uhh... It can't be Nate or Rick or anyone like that so who the hell could it be? Hmm, I honestly can't think of anyone because all the names that were in the first four series got killed off by you, you big murdering sod! I really like the sound of this, although I think you should limit the arc's and just do them from time to time but not too many. It all sounds quite er... Soapish! Ahaha.

I'm really looking forward to this 4th series now, I hope you make it amazing.

Yeah, those first set were preliminary ideas but i've sat down now and thought it through.

Yeah the arcs will be every 8/9 episodes and some won't last long for example if I did a wedding that would be a 2-episode Arc or a Funeral. Because usually I just skim past it.

I believe that this next series could be the best because I am actually taking my time.

This thread is getting stickied btw [according to Elkaa], and I will keep this thread as updated as possible with info until the series is released.

As for the blast from the past, maybe the dead could rise again??

Good to hear it, I loved the first series through to the last one, even though I think it was the 2nd one which was a bit barmy at times. If you've found the best balance, this should be amazing.

I've found the balance between what is too bizarre but what is just about believable which is really explored this series.
