Just done myself some research on the current points system and the points system from last year and i'd thought i would show you my findings...
    Last year / This Year

    Webber 187 / Hamilton 75
    Hamilton 182 / Webber 74
    Alonso 166 / Alonso 67
    Button 165 / Button 67
    Vettel 163 / Vettel 66
    Massa124 / Massa50
    Rosberg 112 / Rosberg 50
    Kubica 108 / Kubica 42

So, Hamilton would be leading by 1 point and it would still be close for the other positions but technically be further behind seen as now 25 points is awarded for a win and 10 for last year - so it shows me that its a lot better for the championship with this years points system.

Thoughts? Which points system do you prefer?
