Shame to see this thread die, as WWE Legends of Wrestlemania came out yesterday, bump I guess.

Loving the game so far, way better than WWE SvR 09.

he likes the well infact ill just quote him haha

" Hey mate how are you?Just got Legends of WrestleMania for the 360. It's fairly good and I like what they have done with the arcade style system and there is a fairly good roster of legends included so I'm pretty happy. Now we just have to hope for an attitude era game next year."

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. - March 25, 2009 - THQ Inc. and JAKKS Pacific, Inc. today announced the availability of new content for WWE® SmackDown® vs. Raw® 2009, the latest release from the leading fighting videogame franchise. Now available for download via Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the content allows players to update their WWE gameplay experience with new playable Superstars and ring gear. WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 originally launched on November 9, 2008 and is available at retailers worldwide.

The content package for Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360, available for 320 Microsoft Points, includes playable Superstars Evan Bourne™, Ted DiBiase™ and Charlie Haas™, along with new ring gear for Chris Jericho®. In addition, future content is planned for Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360, as well as PlayStation®Network for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system.

“The addition of downloadable content to the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw franchise is something our fans have requested for many years,” said Cory Ledesma, senior creative manager, THQ. “With items such as playable Superstars and new ring gear, consumers can broaden their gameplay experience and stay in step with WWE’s weekly television programming."

This is the worse wrestling game I've played. The SvR serious was bad after the first, but this is just pathetic. I'm not even thinking about buying the game after the demo. Jesus, I watched a video of a Royal Rumble and it's the same imported commentary & lame jokes. Should be a free game in XboxLIVE Arcade.

Thing is, im just guessing, but its not meant to be aimed at the people who liked SVR. Its meant to be an arcade type of game for the older audience who were around then. Its a kind of niche market. I have not heard ANY commentary from SVR.

If you want the worst wrestling game, may I reccomend TNA iMPACT or WWE Wrestlemania 21.

1000/1000 already, only got it yesterday.

Brilliant concept but it's done poorly. Stick to SvR.

I got all the trophys a few days ago, also. I personally found it great fun, but not a lasting effect like SVR. Good start for THQ though.
