lol - we're just guna have to wait until the first race next year to find this out!

and another thing we're guna have to do is see if the team name is "Lotus" next year as there's possibly a name change dependin on sponsors.

Team Lotus rather than Lotus Racing you mean. Team Lotus was like the original name, and ties up with Lotus Auto.

If they do change the name, does the Lotus Racing 'history' get merged with Team Lotus or is it viewed that they were a team for a year and their records are seperate?

It's still the same somehow, its like any team changing names Malboro Mclaren Honda, West Mclaren Mercedes and Vodaphone Mclaren Mercedes. All the same!

Yeah but Lotus Racing was viewed as another team and Team Lotus still being defunct, not just a sponsorship name change.

I believe it's really a matter of opinion. They have added this years results to those of 'Team Lotus' anyway!

Ah well its all good.

Except the weather, although I think only having 4/5 hours between quali and the race will make it much more interesting, I'd prefer the format to be this way always.

Well after watching the highlights and the forum here's my thoughts from the GP from Suzuka.

I prefer quali to be on a saturday rather than a sunday ( i know nothing could have been done this weekend).

Vettel drove a good race and did what he needed with Webber coming a close 2nd. Lewis was unlucky to lose 3rd gear but at least he finished in 5th & i thought he did the right thing letting Button through.

In terms of the drivers championship i think its now down to 3 title chasers; Vettel, Webber & Alonso ... out of the 3 i would prefer Webber to win overall.
In terms of the constructors championship Red Bull will more than likely win it this year.

Bring on Korea in 2 weeks time ... F1 going into the unknown

Only problem is that its an early start again, which im not really a morning person
