I got the impression that they switched shoes after that scene. Hence why he was all kinda violent.
It's obvious he knows he's going to die anyway.

Wow what a lackluster Cliche of a 2 parter -.- waste of my time tbh. However i am phyced after watching the prequel for next weeks episode. Looks to be a good 'un. + Is River song the lady with the eye patch. It just looked from the prequel where Riversong announces that today the Dr finds out who i am, they kind of look similar.
Secondly joining the HINT debate. I love season long storylines, however i couldn't agree with you more about the in your faceness about them. I CANT STAND IT I loved Bad wolf as it shows somthing is following them but doesn't scream it in your face. The cracks in time would of been so much better if they wern't made so bloody obvious and it was a secret in each episode to whether you could spot one.
Rant over.
I don't think Eyepatch lady = River Song, but I will say that she'll probably end up being important.
People speculating Omega logo was seen in the trailer for Episode Seven, and that the same thing was found on the armbands of the soldiers from Series 5's weeping angel two-parter.
Personally, I can wait. I'm interested to see how Moffat dangles the next plot thread in our face and whether or not the mid-series finale can reach finale heights.
It does look to be set on a very grande scale, Similar to the series finale with the master.
Oh ya, i look past the final scene as i do with most season finale wrap ups. I go by the overal story leading up the the ultimate scene. Which in the 3 parter master episode was superb.
Good parts about Series 3 finale:
- Captain Jack
- Freema can act for once
- That build-up
- Master playing Scissor Sisters and Charlie Sheen #winning
- That Empire Strikes Back sense of Doctor's fall
- The whole of 'YANA' in Utopia was just mind-blowing
- The final scene where the Master wins by dying
- The Doctor losing
- John Simm being John Simm
- The TARDIS trio on the run, so odd that this trio is where I think Doctor Who truly shines in Doctor/companion relationship exploitation.
Bad things
- George Bush foney
- MASSIVE. RESET. BUTTON.
- FLYING JESUS DOCTOR
- The sound of drums never being resolved (until duh)
- The sound of drums drummed into our heads (hurr)
- THE FACE OF BOE
- Martha leaving for no real reason
I have a love hate relationship with that three-parter. Utopia is bliss, Sound of Drums is amazing but Last of the Time Lords sort of lags in most of its places.

SHOULD'VE SEEN MY FACE.

That's the problem with RTD. He'd think of something far too big and not be able to end it really in a decent way.
I do think they've went a bit over board this year with some recurring stuff but I don't mind a bit more than RTD's era as it gives you something good to look forward to.
e.g. I liked the cracks as it was there but there wasn't really loads of other stuff on top of it, it felt a lot more planned out.
