    Default Approach Hold switch

    On my gps i've set the approach to 08L like the controller said then i pressed VECTORS and then ACTIVATE

    If I'm right when i put the approach hold switch shouldn't it follow that white dotted line?

    If it should it didnt

    All approach hold does it hold your heading and lifts the nose to flare.

    Anyway i had it on to land but it didn't flare i had to do it manually also i could turn etc while it was active YES I DID HAVE THE A/P MASTER SWITCH ON!

    in the PMDG you have to press LOC then APP. But thats got an FMC cos GPS is ***** ;D

    BTW You need to tune the ILS and Put the rwy heading in.

    A) how the hell do i tune into ILS?
    B) I didn't know the RWY heading as i was flying in the fogged in with strong wind/rain

    I want a challenge

    Just checking but you did have the little switch thingy on gps and not nav?

    Find the ILS Freq and put it into NAV1 and find the heading of the runway and put it into the course. You find em on the FS Map, I think you goto one of the menus then Map

    That made me laugh. You don't check the runway heading mid flight. You check it in the map/charts your using.

    It wasent a vatsim flight and i was following the APP and de ATC'S instructions
