Is it right to fight?

It takes courage to walk away? I've tried it, and if that horrible, burning, cowardly feeling is courage, then yeah You shouldn't walk away from a fight, especially an arranged one. Also to whoever said "getting them expelled hurts more" I hate you If you got somebody expelled, they'd be down the next day to kick your head in. Or, if they wanted to go for the grand effect, they'd storm into your lesson

If you are definitely going to get beat up, just defend yourself and wait for it to finish.

However if your not, give them everything you have. Hit them in the jaw or nose is the best bet. Nose they're probally not going to fight back after it, and jaw will drop them if you hit them hard enough.

Just remember, no matter what anyone tells you...

It's a natural isntinct just to fight back, well it is for me, if someone hits me, I hit them back... All the crap what the teachers say about retaliation makes you just as bad, who cares. If someone hits you, your angry and your going to hit them back.. Also, it doesn't take courage to walk/run away. That's being a coward, it's making you look scared in front of the person who's started on you, then they'll give you **** forever. I know that because its happened to me before, I just got fed up and fought back. From then I always fight back..

Zero, under 16's don't get arrested for fighting, unless there's a case of GBH or ABH. Also, if you'd just taken a very bad beating, would you run to the police?

Yeah, if somebody is taking the piss then I say it's ok to fight. Not if they're a mate or someone you get on with and you know they're kidding, I just take it as a joke, but if it's somebody I can't stand I'll kick off.

Its not only GBH or ABH its disturbing the peace, and i dno the name for it but if they come on school property after being expelled the school have to call police
and also its not running to police..if they come into school teachers are bound to find out in which case it will be them who calls the police..like hell i would call the police

but anyway i never said i wouldn't fight back..in any case i would simply because why the hell should I take a beating from someone and not leave them worse off?

Meh, I used to always go down to my old school, so do alot of people. There is a portion of the yard which the teachers let people smoke on (Well, they know we do it there, and they don't stop us until the bell goes) and everyone just climbs the fence there and talks to their mates.
