Did your school have a silence for 9/11?

I was at college, and there wasn't one. But, i guess it depends when the minute silence was, because some people have free periods/breaks & lunch.

Would of been hard to do really.

and my RE teacher said 'whats the point? we dont have a moments silence for the somewhat 40,000 innocent people we've killed in Iraq?'

I kinda agree, but I still think we should have a silence... AND for the 40,000 people who were killed in Iraq too

But when I was in Geography (last lesson I think) me and my friend Lauren did a two minutes silence on our own

We attempted one at the nursery, the kids didn't really understand though... and i don't know bout you guys but when i think of 9/11 i not only think of all the innocent americans killed that day, all the familys torn apart but i also think of the aftermath and the thousands of iraquis who were un nessicerilly killed, who were just as innocent. 3

RE teachers are so opinionated it's stupid. We didn't have silence either, I was quite surprised.
