Well if I saw the swearing that was avoiding the filter I would remove it and infraction. Also if there is a thread which is pointless it doesn't mean you should join in and pointless post, either don't post at all or try and stick to the topic if there was one.

IT's a forum you are meant to comment on stuff, I do agree that out of topic posting is annoying but you get infracted for being just slightly off topic, this is wrong. If you see someone avoiding the filter why cant you just edit their post and put it as stars, that way you are making them not avoid the filter, obviously the feeling of power and authority of giving someone an infraction makes you want to go to the extra effort.

And before you infract me for being off topic, my post is on the topic of your post, which can equally be argued that you post is off topic.

That is stupid. If they do that the person avoiding the filter would never learn and keep doing it because they never got warned or anything. Its just basically saying people can avoid the filter.

No set infractions for a ban, it depends how serious they are and the length of time you got them in.

It said when I tried to sign in that I was rude to a super moderator, thats why I was banned, so there mate.

My infraction lasts forever, and i was just sticking up for someone :rolleyes:.
It had no swearing in it or rudeness whatsoever.

I got 2 infractions... but it was after they decided to put a 6 month limit on them. Phew.

They would learn because they would realise anyway they try to avoid the filter it will be filtered.

It is not saying people can aviod the filter because you would be filtering their words.

The only thing I disagree with is when someone is being damn right offensive, they should be warned and banned for that. But swearing that's just petty, if you were alowed to swear on this people would get borred of it and not take much notice anyway.
