Did/do your parents smack you?

Pfft, nah. I'm too old to be smacked now. If they smacked me I'd smack them back. I don't really give them any reasons to smack me anyway.

Well when i was a little rascle i used to get a smack on the legs not hard just like a tap so i new it was wrong to do that - now if i do something wrong my mum wont slap me because i am bigger than her and i am too old to be smacked not that i would do anything back to her as i love her to bits just sometimes she is a pain but hey arnt all mothers sometimes - she will use the whole "i am going to tell you dad" - wich is like he agrees with me most of the time anyways so go ahead - or the - "I will unplug that computer" this i have heard over 100 times still never happend my mother dosent know how to unplug a computer so and if she tryed and broke it she pays for it so she would have to get me a new one anyway now i am in collage - my dad has always been cool with me really and so has my mum but my dad has never really really shouted at me or hit me so yes anyways

but when i was little she always smacked me cause i was a rascle too, but she rarely does it now she would if im that bad she had a year or 2 ago.

When I was younger my mum smacked me alot. She still does, actually. But not as much as she used to last time.

My ma used to slap me round the head with a newspaper... i think she thought i was a dog or something, she was odd.
My dad never got the chance to smack me but knowing him, he would of paied somebody else to do it. I remember my step dad smacking me, he used to bend me over his knee and spank me with his shoe. It blooming killed.

Very rarely when I was younger.

I stand by my parents decisions, and to be honest - I'm glad they did as it's hepled me grow into the man I am. It made you realise that certain thing's were really wrong and you hadn't to do them, and if you think back it was all to keep you safe and stuff!

They've not hit me since I was a toddler though, lol and they wouldn't even try it now I'm grown up!

Yep mine did - not since I was about 6 though.

I think it's all about assertiveness though. Some people can't assert themself brilliantly through their voice and their kid just looks at them if they shout, so they smack instead. Other people can shout and make their kid cry.

In my opinion, smacking should definately not be illegal.
