I was against the idea of putting Habbox back as official, mainly because back when it was removed, it was a wrong thing to do. But that was nothing compared to half the official sites "/

Besides, does Habbox really want to be official? You can get away with more stuff, and your viewers are viewers who freely come to the site, rather than advertised on Habbo itself

Yup whether |habbox is official or not it will always remain popular. The only reason people would want an official fansite is so that they get the influx if hit and popularity, if your fansite already has that, whats the need of being official?

Well at one time the habbo fansites actually got exclusive press confrences, special news, advertised events with the help of habbo etc... But this isn't happening atm, yet there is supposed to be a new fansite month coming up when new fansites are added and there shall be the usual month of events.

I wouldn't want Habbox to become Offical because Becs is right up your Back end if your Offical although only good thing that would come out of it would be HabboxLive getting Tune In Messages from MODS so then HabboxLive would cripple ThinkHabbo's Radio

After going through some of the newer websites I think the overall standard of the website designs are improving and are very good. The only problem with some of the smaller ones is that the a couple people keep the site running but once they get bored the site closes. Fortunately habbox and other long lasting websites (Habbo Paper and HabboHut) manage to keep going, and its good to see some fansites that started as far back as 2002.
