it can be :S
Windows XP home just doesn't have as much as professional. I think XP professional is more for people who use there pc for web design and stuff.
You should see a couple of files with a .iso extension, I think there is 5 of them imcluding the recovery cd, and you need the i386 version of it.
Once downloaded mount the images using Nero onto cd.
Windows XP Professional has more support for networking then Windows XP Home, try networking a lot of Home desktops together, you will start to find it interesting.

Xp home can be used with control e.g Zpanel.
Most Zpanel hosts use XP home because its cheap and they host it from there house. It can lagg up alot if the computer isnt defraged and re-started once a day. Its always to give it a try and doesnt take no longer then 2mins to installed after you have installed WAMP
XP Pro can be used with Plesk.
I have a old pc with XP Pro and a trial Plesk installed on it. It runs very well and doesnt lagg what is a very good thing. Plesk with Windows XP Pro doesnt need WAMP, all you have to do is run the installer and it installs all the parts for you.

Uh, no, it's more for businesses, or large networks.
Also, WinXP Home does work fine for a server, obviously not as good as Windows Server, but meh.
