    Anyway, it is NOT environment.
Environment can shape many things, for instance if you grow up in a rough council estate in a family of chavs you are likely to become one yourself, and adopt some of your parents ways.
But if a gay couple adopted a child when thye were a baby can you say 100% that it will grow up to be a homosexual? You cannot. It's impossible to shape someones emotions, but it is possible to shape somebodys personality.
Its not down to chromosones, god! i dont know where to start with that..

    1) the number of chromosones are allways the same in any human, normally a mutation of a cell formed my mieosis causes one extra chromosone and if an egg is furtalised (sp) it usually misscarrages. in the VERY VERY VERY rare case when it doesnt misscarrage it causes genetic 'deseases' (its not a desease its just called that)

anyway there are LOADS more reasons why it can not be chromosones but i cant be bothered to list them

I pretty much think sexuality is naturally determined before birth; because you don't decide or choose to be who you are or who you end up becoming.

You just realise over time and come to terms with it (or not, however it may go). The realisation of being gay is probably where people misunderstand the concept and feel you actually have a choice to be or not.

Can you really say you chose to be straight or gay? I know what I would pick if there was a choice over the matter.

edit. www.borndifferent.com a friend gave me this link a while back, it's interesting to say the least.

    you're an idiot.
everyone has the same amount of chromosomes, unless they have downs syndrome.

Being gay isn't really an emotion, it's a preference, and yes environment can shape your preferences.

well it could be because of someone related to them was/is not not streight. Maybe your dreams could affect it or the way you act. Theres is alot of possibilities, but i think the best is that To whoever is not steight...it just feels right to them.

I found that really interesting, lol.

I don't know what to say on the subject, apart from when I was about 7 or something, in Primary school, I was attracted to girls, kissed them, all sorts. (probably just a school crush).

I've always hang around with girls, like seriously - always. I even lead a "gang" in primary school, full of girls because I stopped liking to play football, and etc. I was just basically attracted to males, tbh.

Confusing and stupid, but yeah lol.
