Mods do not use George. Not even most Habbo Staff. George is a system like so... When a Habbo says a word that is inappropriate, automatically a chat box pops up on a computer in a Sulake office (not sure which one, not every country does this), and the techy can follow the chat. The inappropriate chat is outlined in red. This saves time for Moderators. Also, people may wonder how someone is swearing so much, no one reports, and then gets banned - George is responsible for this.

George is used very little at the moment, but like I've said in a previous thread, a more advanced version coming out, which bans and traces automatically and has very little manual control, only with exetremly serious cases (Paedofiles?) that a manual over ride will come into place, but thats coming in the future.

Just a thing which im wondering about the extra/intra stuff. Im thinking intra is for home access and extra is for office access? Just a thought.

Quite possibly, but as someone clarrified

Extra is for MODs and can only do basic Syntax commands

However Intra can do advanced things, add badges, view help tool thingys, hotel alerts.

But I'd of thought things would be installed in the office computers so they can do it easily, maybe anyway.

The internet has been down at the offices tonnes of times, How does the trouble start then? It's all being done remotely and nothing is held at the offices?

George is a tool any Moderator can access too, it's the only tool to pass the privacy act or something, I was told by a moderator friend of mine. They have different moderators who monitor the tool and they generally hit rooms that have two people in (what I've been told) as padeophiles tend to go into one manned rooms.

These links do not exist and haven't for a while. Since the security breach :rolleyes: Before every habbo could see the login screen for housekeeping which was very exploitable.

Housekeeping does still exist in the form of the 'allseeingeye'. In that panel administrators can control all hotels from one network. The Housekeeping at present is guarded by certificates over the internet providing lots more protection. There still are the 2 panels called extra and intra: -

Extra - Used by moderators

Banning, alerting, george, forums and account information. This panel is very basic with limited tools.

Intra - Used by office staff, player support, and other administrators

There are many tools in this panel but to name a few, website alert, badges, server information, user permissions etc.

Intra is the more powerful panel which can perform system wide commands.

This was about habbo china, hence the /ch, replace this with en for UK etc... You still need the digital certificate however
