I just think buying a knife to protect yourself is a bit OTT, and tbh i think the only reason you posted it on the forum was so you could look "hard".

No seriously, Just because you probably live in an area where there is hardley ANY crime or anything like that. In some areas, its almost manditory(sp) to have a weapon to protect yourself.
