If it's a warm day DEFINITELY go on Tidal Wave, It's a great ride and if it's warm you dry out within the hour, I went there for a school rewards trip last year. If it's not warm don't bother you'll be freezing afterwards and it will take ages to dry.
I was wearing a silky football top and a pair of grey nike jogging bottoms god it took me so long to dry, just as i got dry i went on it again

I live about 5 mins away, all I can recommend is going on the 'bigger rides' just as the park opens, and just as it is closing.
None of the rides there are anything to be scared of. Don't bother queueing for zodiac (or samurai or quantum cos they have been tamed down and are rubbish now)
