It goes towards Habbox, which you run - so the money is a nice addition. So it does make a difference.

    It costs £4.50 for a sub-forum (for 6 months). :|

Surely you could of merged some of the elder (archive) forums that you have habbox? (if you haven't already / or deleted them).

I'm quite amazed at this actually, it now costs £9 to get nothing new (the newest thing I believe was the Arcade?) whereas we could get that before for a reasonable £4.50; now if you raised the price of 6 months VIP to £6 (£1 a month..) and kept the sub-forums, I think that would of been much more suitable... (if you really had to change it at all).
You french fried when you should have pizza'd. If you french fry when you should pizza, you're gonna have a bad time....

The point is not to get more money, we have enough money to pay for our servers at the moment.
The point is we want to dramatically bring down the number of subforums, as vBulletin warns the performance of the forum goes down when the total amount of (sub)forums is too large.
I think we should keep the large and popular subforums permanently for free though, maybe if the ones that contain a certain number of posts and already existed before we started charging for them.

The money from VIP helps to fund all the Habbox sites, I think.
