I thought it was alright but I'd recommend going to see Transformers instead. I dunno what some of you are on about though, because it certinaly wasn't crap and it is pretty funny.

Wow, this movie was amazing. I really really loved it, especially the first 10 minutes.

And yes, I agree with everyone saying the Spiderpig part was really lame, same with Harry Blobber or whatever. It was funny the first time you see the trailer. The second time it was okay. The third time it was just unfunny. The only fun pig part for me was when Homer was blowing on his stomach saying 'whos a good pig?'.

Oh, and Ralph's line of 'I like men now' was freakin' hilarious lol!

I don't understand how people can call this movie crap, it was the polar opposite of it. I'd rate it a 9/10, this is my favourite movie of 2007. Much better than Transformers which was my fav movie up to this point, imo.

Yeah lot's of people stayed in mine but I couldn't be bothered. I saw the bit at the end of Pirates of the w/e.

I thought it was fantastic. I won't point out my favorite points cos there's too many. And I disagree with the later seasons being unfunny. I was watching a seasion 15 episode where Homer builds Bart a bike and Barts bike falls to pieces on the road, Homer comes running with a first aid kit and says "I've spring loaded it for quick access", he opened it and all injections and needles springed into his forehead.

I gotta say I thought it was not the end and guess what it was, was too short and everything seemed rushed in places , The secondary characters had little involvement and the story was weak. The ending was really rushed too. I gotta say what a let down. This movie should of been made 10 years ago when simpsons was at its best... oh well 5/10
Perhaps the adult-orientated humour went way over your head. Also, it was a very difficult movie to make, they began laying the very foundations of the concept of a The Simpsons movie in 1997... which, yes, is ten years ago.

The movie may have seemed short, but its 86 minutes its length, which is just four minutes shy of the standard and most common movie.

there was almost no adult-oriented humor in the movie :/ and actually, i just saw an interview with matt groening, and he said they started making the movie in 2003. and dont say "oh well the foundation of the movie was made in 1997" -- because that's probably not much. the "foundation" was probably just the idea to make a movie. if it was a lot, he would have said it started in 1997.

In someways this is alot like the family guy movie, in that its really just an elogngaed episold, it was ok, not great. Alot of the humar comes from the implication and refernces made rather than just the slapstick stuff, but if you dont get the references i can see how you could easly miss them.

Although the implict/reference jokes king still has to be family guy, the movie from that was also great.
