Gender in post bit.

Why doesn't it say the gender in the post bit anymore? People keep thinking I'm a guy, so I need that there so they know I'm a girl!

My view is, if your too lazy to click view profile, you don't deserve to know their gender.

But seriously, I don't really care about what gender of the poster is. And if i really want to know then I can always click "view profile". There's no point in making the postbit look messier for no reason.

In some threads it helps if you know the other persons gender who your replying to.

I think if you want to read a blog then view it from the persons profile and put the gender back or remove blogs and have less on show.

Well perhaps then if the blogs stay ( they don't look like they will be popular though and not used properly) then perhaps location could be deleted and gender put back in. To be thought of as a boy when you are a girl is a tad annoying

My thoughts exactly. Gender is far more useful in more situations than location, although in an ideal situation both would be good.

The location and/or the join date being removed for it would be a good idea. Because why is when you joined or where you live important?

It's also better to have it in the post bit so that when people make a thread in the fashion, relationship or whatever forums, you know what kind of advice/sites to give without giving loads of advice for the wrong gender. And, it beats having to view their profile all the time just to see their gender which takes time and whats the point when you can have it in the post bit instead? Which makes it alot easier!
