Actually we only care about it for about 48 hours during events etc. After that it's just another year, or 2.

I am bored of this Madeleine McCann business. Yes if she is miraculously alive and they find, then it maybe worth reading about where she was and I may also be interested to know she has been found dead aswell, because lets face, it's been wiped in our faces and we may aswell know what happened to her. But I don't care at the moment about aload of conspiracy theories with no hard evidence.

I admire the parents of Madeleine for keeping the case in the public eye for so long. Do you know how many thousands of kids are abducted in the world each year? How many do we hear about, not just in a single news bulletin, but for over six months? Still, I think things are starting to slip. Unfortunately, I don't believe she's alive anymore. But I think if the parents have any hope of her returning safetly, they have to keep campaigning.

i think they should stop telling us about this story and just say when they find out who it is, no one wants to hear all the updates n plees and crap.

Hes true, its been going on longer then 200 days now, everyday of those 200 days it'd be on news or the newspapers.
We don't want to know the rumours, only the god dam truth. I don't think there ever going to find her unless a miracle happens and I don't think one will. Yes, if it was my child I'd be devistated but there hardly emotional, that's why I think its something to do with the parents.

Sorry to be blunt but if the parents didn't take her:

She has most likely been raped by the paedophile who took her (This is a guess but who else takes a little girl)
She HAS been killed.

If the parents had something to do with it:
She is dead.

I don't see why there searching in morroco and stuff, if shes still alive, she'll be in the algarves. Shes not going to be able to get out to somewhere like morocco if shes like the headline of the news. The parents wouldn't of killed her either, seeing the newspapers were all over them after the incident and the bllod was there like 5 weeks after it happened.

One of the main reasons why it had dragged on for so long is because the parents and thier supporters have made a huge effort to keep the campaign going. There are more child abductions and murders than the general public gets to hear about, because these things often don't come to the media attention unless someone goes to them.
The McCanns have kept the media following thier progress to keep awarness of the situation, and hopefully produce more evidence regarding the case.
