It does not keep people in any form of order. Schools are not jails, they shouldn't have the same environment. Schools are a place of learning. Bullying shouldn't take place anywhere.

Same on the internet. Not a single person on the internet is put into a social hierarchy, everyone should accept people for who they are, just because someone is different to you doesn't mean they should be the same.

But it is a serious issue and people do take it seriously. It can cause psychological problems. People do not understand how serious it can be.

I didn't mention jails :S the thing with hierarchy is that whether you like it or not, it happens. Equality does not exist and I wouldn't want it to - I wouldn't want to be set on the same level as most of the idiots who were in my high school. As for leading to psychological problems, ain't my fault that some people are too weak to take it.

On the subject of you coming down and bullying me, I don't think it's likely. There are natural types of people, some are leaders some are followers etc... and while I don't doubt that I'd be intimidated if people who were physically big attempted to threaten me, mental bullying of the sort that I'm on about would not bother me at all. I'm immune, especially if it's done by people who can't even work out why it's done. I'd likely just insult you back, no problem.

I seriously cannot imagine being weak enough to be bothered by that sort of thing. I'm under no illusions about my physical stature - I'm fairly short, very skinny and not exactly muscly - yet my mental capacity allows me to have power over those who realistically could easily break me to pieces.
