There are a large number of 16 year olds who understand the political system in the UK, and would have worthwhile views which could contribute to the voting process. Of course, most people would say there are too many uneducated teens who would distort the decision made by the general public. But, I'm almost certain that there are an equal number of over 18's who take little interest in, or lack knowledge of the political system.

    I'm undecided.

Yeah plenty of over 18s don't know much about politics really, so there's no need to have an even larger number of idiots voting.

I also think it would be a huge contradiction. Old enough to vote, but not old enough to drive, buy cigs or buy alcohol. It would be odd.
Vote the BNP for a laugh? At least they are more truthworthy than any of the main partys at the moment.

I would vote BNP at the current political climate if we had a fair voting system because then my say would count.

How can you say they are trustworthy? For years they have said they are not racist when they blatently are. You obviously didn't hear about that undercover journalist, who joined the BNP, and found out how top people in the party instruct others not to use offensive terms in public, even though they do it freely amongst themselves.
