Because I know that I haven't received any pointless reputation. I don't issue reputation often so its not often anyone has the opportunity to return it, the only occasion on which other users rep me is for being helpful because I don't post negative comments on here as I dont see the point.
For example, although I cant quote the actual reputation comment I can tell you I have received quite a few over the last few weeks for adding VIPs usertitles/changing VIPs names and other VIP related tasks such as helping solve issues via PM all of which are justified reputation comments as its a show of gratitude.

Feel free to Elliott, the reputation page is set by default to 30 days so I don't need to change anything when I go looking through reputation, all I have to do is type in the username and hit search.

I personally think it's fair enough that if you report negative rep then you're running the risk of getting positive rep removed. The thing that I find annoying is that when you get rep removed when you haven't even posted in that thread.

None of the rules are THAT unreasonable. Most users manage to stick to them so they cant be that bad.

If you are an administrator you are not permitted to check your own reputation. If Nick- got a pointless bad reputation he would have to ask another administrator to check it for him.

And also Nick- will get alot of rep from VIP members as I remember lots of people rep you as a thank you.

AND also the admincp reputation page is set to a default of 30 days back (1 month), so he shouldn't need to change the settings.

This was all introduced to reduce the use of that thread, as the amount of people who wanted it removed was stupid, and most wasn't pointless. This was all part to clean up the reputation system that we had many complaints about before.

I think you find it is, I have never removed my own pointless reputation, I got another administrator to see if it's pointless and let them deal with it, and I have only ever had 1 reputation removed when somebody's account was hacked and it bad repped people.

If you think he is doing it, I am sure you can PM ---MAD--- who will check the Admin Logs for you to see if he is doing it, which I very much doubt.
