Yea but in Dragonball the anime Goku is a kid, in the movie he's clearly at some stage of adulthood, the movie doesn't even look worth watching since the guy playing Goku is Canadian o.O

Yeah, so that means they changed the characters age, not the story. This IS Dragonball. NOT Z! Read the plot. It's based off the King Piccolo saga in the Dragonball anime/manga.

I'll go see it, but will need to clear my mind of the anime. I'm guessing it's not doing the whole bit when Goku was a boy, hopefully they will do a Dragonball Z one if this one does well.

Same events, just Goku is not a kid in the movie as he was in the anime. Two sequels have been confirmed.

it doesnt look that good. i loved the anime version n all, but i dont think ill go watch this at the cinema. propa looking forward to it aswell lol. i think setting it in modern times was a bad move imo.

Aparrently he's not green due to lack of sunlight and he will be green once he is seperated from his 'evil' side. :S Although Piccolo does get seperated in the anime, this movie sure likes making things up.

I have mixed opinions. I believe as an adaption this movie will suck, but if you try not to think that it's trying to be Dragonball, it will be alright. Although the reality is, it is trying to be Dragonball. So it will suck.

I watched Dragonball Z when I was younger. Can't remember anything about it apart from I loved it Will probably go and see this though.
