How long can you hold your breath?

I am not lieng.. I held my breath for 3 mins and twelve seconds. The average human can hold their breath for 3 minutes without oxygen/air. I guess I'm just average. It all depends on your physical form I suppose. I know this will sound weird... but I practice holding my breath in the summer because I have a pool :p And for some of you who are saying it's impossible.. one time on survivor some person held their breath under water for 5 minutes :p But then again, not everything you see on television is real I suppose.

Lol, no that isn't weird, I don't think. I do that sometimes too, but rather than just holding my breath, I see how far I can swim underwater without coming up for air :p
