We need smods to be able to check who reported posts for references when hiring moderators.
(A)FM sometimes pick moderators from those who report posts regularly.

I agree, good decision. However, if the user that reports the post wants to be known, they could put their name, like this.
Spam post
- Hitman
Or whatever, but they can keep it confidential now so that's good. Also good SMODs can view names.Good work.
Nice going. =]
I agree, this also helps if we get someone that decides to abuse the reported post feature. Smods check it more often and can deal with it if it's needed.

Just means that information is leaked now, we know exactly where to go to. However, I'm sure the Super Moderator team won't have this issue, so, problem solved.![]()
Indeed it does, I was just pointing out something else.
You bet they won't or I'll hunt them down myself! I really can't see the point in giving out this type of information, because all it does, even if it was allowed, is cause problems between members of the forum, of course. It just seems stupid to me as a moderator.Originally Posted by Elkaa

Yes off course. Just like if you want to leave your name in a rep comment to a non vip.
It then would be pointless having super moderators tbh. It helps moderators to find reported posts and rule breaking.
Plus, administrators don't have the time to look through reported posts as they have more time consuming jobs.
