No, that most certainly isn't the case. Apple's are in a market for themselves to a respect, seeing as they're the only ones to market OS X. Therefore users whom desire OS X are forced to pay more for it.
This is somewhat true. The user would have to be tricked into installing the virus however. So there are viruses, but the user must approve of their functions. Some users do actually fall for these schemes, and get an OS X virus.

I said they're the only ones marketing OS X. No other computer manufacturers license OS X besides Apple. Ubuntu is a secure operating system that can be installed free on Windows. However my AVG catches viruses for me.
