(oh please don't say try vista its worth it, I had vista from november 06 (yes, I got it before public release) unitll around February/March 07 when i went back to XP.)

Mac OS X is a million times better than Vista or XP. There is no competition between them. No viruses, no spyware, no crashing, no lag, no errors and no blue screen. Just face it, if it's Windows it sucks and sucks bad. Before you try and say "You don't get the same software for Mac", exactly you get lot better stuff. For example you don't get an Panic software for Windows. Without Panic I wouldn't be able to live. The only thing Windows has that Apple doesn't is users.

If you can't afford a Mac then that's your own fault not the people who can afford quality and performance.

This post shows the ignorance of a fan boy. All systems crash, OSX is not better nor worse than Vista or XP, it's all opinion, no fact. What you said is aload of crap because:

Macs do crash, explain why I know someone who has a Mac and the OS deleted itself?

On Vista you rarely ever get viruses or spyware, I've not had any, only from when I've downloaded a torrent with them in.

I can't be bothered reply to the rest of utter rubbish you've mentioned, you get way better stuff on a PC, as you do with better stuff for a Mac. So go take your Mac and make ignorant love with it I stick with this opinion:

If you're an idiot who is capable of getting viruses or errors, then get a Mac. If you're clever and have common sense, get a cheaper, decent PC with the same money as a Mac.

Haha, that was quite funny. after seeing theese guys bicker over Vista and XP was nice to see someone attempt to make Mac software look good.

Okay so how come when I attempted to install Vista onto a "VISTA READY" laptop it failed 7 times before it even installed. Then once it was all I got was constant problems involving common software such as Adobe CS3. I even lost all sound as the sound drivers wouldn't work. I ended up having to revert to XP the same day. Where as when I upgraded from Tiger to Leopard it was a 40 minute install and that was it. I could continue on where I left off. It was so easy that I actually done it during my Software Development class. Nothing works on Vista where as everything works on Leopard, even Vista!

There is just no competition now, Vista is trying so, so hard to be like Mac OS and it's failing so much.

Again, more rubbish. First off, installing Vista over XP is a bad idea, it rarely works. Did you bother getting the drivers for the sound card? Probably not.

Also, this "nothing works on Vista" rubbish you just came out with... Hmmm, I wonder how I have a fully working Firefox, oh and Sims 2, oh and adobe CS3. How is MSN working on here? Hmmm, something is wrong here because an ignorant Mac lvoer says none of this should be working. Hmmmm... Also, OS/X works on a PC, I believe it's a program called Hackintosh.

Vista is not trying to be like OS/X, what are these comparisons? Half the things Vista and OS/X use have been on Linux for ages or on Windows as plug-ins/hacks like the side bar on the right. You say there's no competition yet you compare the two still. You're a walking bag of contradictions

There is competition, and Vista is winning. Mac OS/X got exploited in a competition through Safari, while Vista came second with an exploit in flash. Linux won because it's safer than both combined "/

You have a very weak and poor argument saying your a 'Million times' better and 'Windows sucks'. All this 'calling' of Windows users and grouping is unnecessary because we disagree with you in an argument. I'm not too much of a fan of Apple but I can recognise their strengths and respect your opinion. I'm a fan of iPods and iTunes, and I also think it's probably true Microsoft wouldn't be here with out Apple, they've contributed a lot to the world of computing.

So what if you can't get virus's? If all Windows users decided to purchase one of the better anti-virus's they'd never get a virus, fair enough it does cost a little to buy a anti-virus but you still save a lot more than buying a Mac.

Don't bother bringing performance into things, for the price of a Mac, you can always get a much much more powerful Windows computer and that is inevitable.
