What do you have in mind for further development on the logo?

I would put a small [NON FEATHERD] subtile dropshadow on the words,
and play some more with the light-effects on the oval-kinda thing.

(featherd being the 'size' on blending options > dropshadow)

Right, now try and combine that text, with that oval of that other graphic
Your oval is white, the other one has a subtile color, which is in my opinion a bit nicer.

Each have the same colours, feathers and with the "overlay" effect (im using fireworks btw) The opacity is also the same.
