I'm more concerned about the pronunciation... 'Pre-mark or Primark?' Primark sounds obvious but I pronounce it 'pre' lmao

I disagree with child labour and I didn't watch the programme so I'll take everyone's word for it that it wasn't the company's fault but the factories...

It might be basic but think about the people in this country who get barely minimum wage and have to work all the god sent hours to pay there rent and get basic food? Were providing them with an ok standard of life which they probally wouldnt of had.

It is not just Primark who have committed this aswell, some Primark sweatshops were next door to george and other various brands. It is wrong to blame Primark for the contraversy caused because it is not entirely thier fault (and not just thier fault!) as it is hard to track of companies subletting to other people.

    Thanks for your time
I didnt actually say it was, its something like that. But alot of these shops say there unaware of the sub-contracting which is going on where the children are being employeed. The contractors these big clothing companies get can afford to pay the people over 16 a decent enough wage so that children dont have to work and work dont have to get sub-contracted to keep them companies costs down. Think of the profit they much by making, 80% on a £1 tshirt, rediculous figures like that but still we continue to buy from there and I will continue to buy from there. Actually almost all my clothes I am wearing now are from primark (H)

The Devil Wears Primark was cancelled but i really wanted to see it.

I think really with any clothing shop you just have to throw away all your morals as you walk in the door and forget everything you know about equality.

^ Basically, unless something is tailor made for you in a shop then most of the mass produced clothes will come from some form of sweat shop were ever it is in the world.
