Its a great idea but if features are added on then, surely thats just the same as paying for extra features... *I didn't want to say it but it is the truth*

I was thinking if it means paying furni for it, I am e-confused as I said in another thread

By replacing the word Charge with Donate that would mean that the service that the purchaser is requiring (in this case VIP) would not work the same.

If the word was changed to Donate then that would mean the purchaser could provide a voluntary contripution, meaning the purchaser could actually have the service for free as he isnt actually required to provide payment, only a donation.

A way in which Habbos.net has gotten around this problem is quoted from their premium part of their site.

For members who choose to donate towards the upkeep of the forum.

The fansite way has been introduced worldwide and them being official on 5 english speaking hotels as well as having Habbo Staff regularly using the forum. The donate option seems the only possible solution to resolve this problem. In simple terms, you are donating in order to benefit the upbringing of the site/forum and in return you receive a gift. This would be a special coloured name, reputation points etc. Another gift for donating could be a special mention on the main site which we know happens on many official fansites.

If it includes the forum Habbox would most probably have to cease being official since it would be extremely hard to maintain the sites without the VIP fees.

So another words Habbo is saying if your official or not the fansite can't charge you for accessing the VIP part of the forum if im not mistaken.

All habbo homes are is drag and drop. Any website has the right to use it.

Technically speaking, you could get Sulake in trouble for saying that. They are suggesting they own a piece of code, which as far as I am aware, is illegal when other people have made it. If it was something as complex as vBulletin forums or IPB forums, then they can say that, but for a simple code which anyone can have and anyone can make, it's stupid.

If that's the case, then why mention 'cloned Habbo Homes' at all when they could save the time and effort by saying 'it is not allowed to use Habbo images on websites which break the Habbo/Fansite Way by selling premium services or replicating any part of Habbo either through retro hotels or false log-ins.' You have to be precise with these things, or you get in trouble (at Habbo).

They can't stop fansite owner's from making a 'homes system' or using them on there site, as long as none of the script has Sulake's coding in it, however they can stop you from using their image's. If they got really strict, i think they could stop you using the word "Habbo" on the Home's system (but im not sure) :S
